Nancy Sieh

I believe each individual is a gift with strengths to be uncovered and challenges to be explored, and that yoga is the perfect method for discovering them. Practicing yoga feels like I have cracked open my outer shell that was my old way of seeing, feeling and doing things, and that I have stretched beyond my body and found the beautiful treasure inside. I’d like for you/my students to also have a similar ‘Aha’ experience with yoga.

In 2013 I completed teacher training in the Himalayan Tradition at Lotus Yoga Centre. I am a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 200), and a certified y4c (yoga 4 cancer) teacher since 2015, and am currently enrolled in Himalayan Yoga & Meditation Center’s 300-hour program. Additionally, I apprenticed as a teacher trainer with Anita Maher at Lotus Yoga Centre and now serve as a Trainer at Lotus Yoga Centre. I really love teaching yoga, sharing what I’ve learned, and helping others experience the many benefits of yoga including better balance, focus, flexibility, strength and peace.

It is is a central scripture of non-dualist Kashmir Shaivism and the only Tantra devoted to Shiva’s Third Eye. Also known as Mṛtyuñjaya, it explores the transformative power of the Mahā Mṛtyuñjaya Mantra, subtle yogic energies, and practices for transcending fear, illness, and death. The text is clarified through Kṣemarāja’s 11th-century commentary and translated by Dr. Bettina “Śāradā” Baumer, a renowned scholar of the tradition.
