Lizzy Crowne

Lizzy is a Hood River transplant, having moved from Austin, TX and grown up on the East Coast. Lizzy has practiced yoga on and off since high school, but found a deeper sense of grounding and connection to her practice while navigating the pandemic and graduate school.

As a trauma therapist, yoga has been a beautiful complement to how she works somatically with clients. Mutually, Lizzy’s professional experience informs how she shows up as a teacher who values inclusivity, accessibility, autonomy, and empowerment in her yoga classes.

Finding balance with work, Lizzy loves to be in/near water, frolic around the PNW with her rescue dogs, make stained glass art, cook, and listen to early 2000s punk pop music.

1 hour and 15 minutes
Flow—Our signature style. A flowing vinyasa-style yoga class that often includes vinyasa, kriya and asana proven to improve strength, cardiovascular health, and flexibility. Most importantly, we teach yoga, not just asana, by including guidance into presence and awareness. This class is appropriate for intermediate levels. You will be given options in each pose so that you feel challenged, yet successful.

Hatha Flow
with Lizzy Crowne
1 hour
An accessible class for every body. We slow things down to truly move with a complete ujjayi breath, so that our movement becomes mindful and meditative while accessing the flow state. This class is great for beginners while also offering the challenge of slow pacing with lots of options for experienced practitioners.

Vin/Yin
with Lizzy Crowne
1 hour
Vin/Yin is a practice intended to find that balanced point between effort and ease. In the first half of this class, expect to be guided through a breath-to-movement Vinyasa style flow to build strength, empowerment, balance, and connection to your body and breath through movement. For the second half of class, you will be guided towards a gentle, grounded Yin practice: think longer-held poses to target the deeper connective tissues and invite stillness and calm. Strength and action will melt seamlessly into softness and tranquility.
